We visited the islands of: Tenerife, Gran Canaria, La Palma, Funchal, Agadir & Lanzarote. Neither of us had been there before and we think cruising is the best way to see the islands. Personally, we could have given Agadir a miss. |

Full Review:
Generally we found the dining was good, especially in the Meridian Dining Room. The entertainment was top notch and was far above our expectations. It surpassed that of the Jewel of The Seas everytime. The Cruise Director, Lee and his Entertainers were simply fantastic. From Captain Roy down to the potato peeler, the crew were so friendly. The ship felt like one big family. The cabin stewards were superb, as were most of the staff.
Funchal is worth an extra day's stay to our mind and we would suggest leaving out the port of Agadir. Perhaps a call at La Gomera or Fuertaventura or both would compliment the cruise more? But overall the cruise was great.
Cruise Positives:
The best thing was the friendly atmosphere. Because of that everything else was just fun.
Cruise Negatives:
We would have liked Courtesy Coaches to take the less abled passengers into the town centres and back again. Even if this means having a charge for the facility. We found the Reception Staff less friendly than all other areas of the ship, a bit snooty a
