Full Review:
This was our first cruise and will be our last. We paid for luxury and got a ship that unfortunately is not fit for purpose. It vibrates execessively whether in or out of port, and when at sea lack of stabilisers combine with this to make the whole experience very uncomfortable. Luckily for us we paid for a superior cabin which was roomy. With temparatures in the low 20's the aircon was just adequate. In Summer it will not be - be warned. Depite the price the bathroom tiles were cracked and black mildew evident around the shower area. The whole experience was very claustraphobic. The day at sea a waste of time with nothing to do - the sunbathing areas were very crowded - as indeed were all outside areas, with 50% of outside seating given over to smokers.
The gym had six running machines yet no cross trainer or rowing machine - not that this will have bothered most of the guests. Despite the brochure pictures the majority were old, sedentary or obese. This was mirrored in the activities available. Live and let live, but a more honest brochure description would have helped.
Cruise Positives:
Food was good and the dining experience not too crowded if you chose your time in the Lido. The Meridan looked very claustrophobic.

Contant vibration. Worse than a car ferry! Being thrown out of our room at 8.00 a.m. with nothing to do until coach pick up at 12.30. Why not act like a hotel and organise to allow incoming guest to check in later?
