Full Review:

This is our second cruise. We enjoyed the Spirit so much last year that we couldn't wait to cruise again this.

We were disappointed in one thing only - originally we had booked an outside cabin with a double bed. Thomsons had made a mistake with our booking and we ended up in an inside L-shaped cabin. However apart from this everything was excellent.

We enjoyed the excellent food served in the Lido Restaurant and felt the quality and choice of food was superb.
We enjoyed the Captain's dinner in the Meridan Restaurant as well as the Buffe Magnique served at midnight - one thing puzzled us was why did they have to seat everyone all crushed up and use as few tables as possible. Some people prefer to dine alone and we felt piqued at the Grande Buffet to see so many tables empty. Our dining companions were obviously not happy to be seated with us. Apart from this minor complaint we have no grumbles whatsoever.

The entertainment was excellent and very professional and varied.

We were able to do some ballroom dancing this trip which was a big plus for us.

We felt that the service was excellent and the staff wonderful - nothing was too much trouble and the ship was clinically clean.

We enjoyed the excursions particularly the one to Olympia. However we were unlucky in that the Greek Tour Guides had gone on strike the day we visited Athens and we were taken there on the coach and left to our devices. They did have notices to read so we did not lose out too much.

A disappointment was that due to bad weather in that part of the ocean we were unable to visit Santorini (Reading other views this seems to happen quite often!) We were looking forward to seeing this scenic island.

Overall an excellent holiday, second only to the cruise we had taken the year before on the Thomson Spirit.

We are now looking forward to our next cruise and hope that it will be as good as this one was.

Cruise Positives:
Willing staff, good reception staff. Shop with affordable clothes, excellent food and excursions. Cleanliness of ship;

Cruise Negatives:
L-shaped cabin
