We shared a 4 berth inside cabin on A Deck which was spacious and kept immaculately clean and tidy by our cabin steward. Much larger than the 4 berth cabin on Destiny. Ample wardrobe and drawer space and room to move around when the beds were down.

The ship itself feels spacious and is kept incredibly clean and tidy by the many crew on board. The pools were clean and pool towels were provided and changed regularly. There were plenty of chairs and sun loungers on the decks and bar service covered all the outside areas.

There is a good choice of food on board. The Meridien offers waiter service with an a la carte menu and some of the most delicious meals. The Lido has both an indoor and outdoor seating area and was self service offering food virtually 24hours. Our children really enjoyed the pizzas, burgers and chips at the lido pool grill and we also enjoyed the Greek style delicatessen and toasted sandwiches on the lido pool deck at lunchtimes. The hot desserts in the Lido were second to none if you are a fan of old fashioned school desserts and the free ice cream bar was a huge hit with adults and children alike. Afternoon tea for those who had room provided sandwiches, home made cakes, biscuits and scones. A nice touch in the Lido is the waiter service of iced water, tea and coffee with meals which are otherwise self service. We had an all inclusive package and most drinks with the notable exception of bottled water were included free of charge.

Entertainment wise there was plenty of variety and plenty of activity. The kidzone reps worked extremely hard providing up to 6 hours of activity for different age groups in 2 hour sessions. Our 9 year olds had a fantastic time joining in the planned activities and also used the sports facilities regularly during the cruise. The adult entertainment team and show team also worked extremely hard to ensure the passengers' enjoyment. The evening shows were varied and to a high quality. There were plenty of seats available in the Broadway Show Lounge but Liberties was a bit cramped for later evening activities. The deck parties were enormous fun for everyone.

The destination services team were helpful and efficient and provided daily information sheets about the ports of call and tips for independent travel. The organised tours were pricey but efficient and a wide variety was available. We took the Secret Corners tour of Venice and could recommend it to others for the views obtained from the canals. Independent travel in Dubrovnik and Kotor were easy wnough to arrange.

The ship may not be the most glamorous ship on the seas but the staff on board have to be among the friendliest. We could not have asked for better or more courteous and friendly service. Our children were made to feel like royalty and will talk about this holiday for a long time to come. This cruise represented great value for money and a fantastic family holiday

Cruise Positives:
Great value for money, super friendly and efficient service, good dining choices, very child friendly.

Cruise Negatives:
Air con in port (esp Corfu)not very efficient, Liberties a little small for evening activities
