What a great holiday! My 18-year old daughter and I flew out to the Dominican Republic enjoying the comfort of premium seats on the plane and had a wonderful flight. On arrival we were escorted quickly from the airport to the cruise terminal and then even more quickly onboard the Destiny - it was all so easy as cases are transferred directly from the airport. Once unpacked, we went exploring and found the Clipper Bar, Blakes and most importantly the spa. We booked a massage with the lovely Lisa for the following day and then settled into our first evening onboard. The whole cruise from then on was amazing - beautiful ports of call, white beaches, turquoise sea, tax free shopping in St Maarten, horse riding on the beach, swimming with turtles, handsome cliff jumpers at waterfalls, cocktails, quizzes and a West-end quality show every night. Our favourite shows were Cult Fiction, Voodoo, Africa, Moulin Rouge and Paul and Dan's Swingtime - 2 really talented guys. We had such a wonderful time that, along with many other passengers we spoke to on the last morning, we simply didn't want to leave. The staff on the Destiny all make you feel so at home, they remember your name and some of them, even what you drink. The waiters were charming and helpful, reception staff the same. Paul and Dan (Cruise Director and Assistant Cruise Director) had organised a truly refreshing, fun cruise with a first-class team of people. I think Thomson's have almost perfected family cruising. Would we go back? We've already looked at the brochure to plan the next cruise and I will definitely be recommending you to everyone who asks about our trip.

Cruise Positives:
Opening the curtains on another beautiful sunny island every day. The amazing talents of the whole entertainment team and the friendliness of the whole staff. Absolutely amazing when you consider that these guys were all coming to the end of a 9 or 12-mo

Cruise Negatives:
The only downside was that the cabins are on the small side but heck, you only sleep in it! The excursion to Bayahibi beach was disappointing - no sunbeds readily available and the beach is very crowded and LOUD! We had rave music pumping out the whole m
