Hello Everyone,

This is the situation - I recently booked a cruise on Thomson Destiny to sail 22/03/09 for 7 nights to the Caribbean. Destinations: Dominican Republic, Grenada, Dominica, Antigua, St Maarten, Tortola and Dominican Republic. I booked the cruise for my parents 50th Anniversary, and I was going to accompany them on the holiday. The booking was made as follows: Flight from Manchester Airport to Dominican Republic and cruise for myself, and cruise only booking for mum and dad, because I could not afford to pay for their flights. My mum said that she had air miles with virgin atlantic, so I asked whether she was sure about the air miles, and could afford the flights. She said yes, so on that confirmation I booked the cruise. Only to find out later, that my mum was not completely sure about the air miles, and discovered she did not have enough for the flight, and was also unable to find the cash. My mum is in her 70s, and I guess she did not full understand how air miles worked but it was too later because I had already booked the cruise. As a result, of this mishap, I am now stuck with a 640.00 cancellation charge for the whole cruise, and have up until the 23th January 2009 to make alternative arrangement or lose 640.00. I honestly can not afford to lose this money because (1) - I am self-employed, (2) - would like to treat my parent to alterntive gift at a later date (3) - worked really hard to raise this money. I have tried family and friends but no luck there.

So, my request is to sell the cruise as quickly as possible and recoup my money. I do not blame my mum because she didn't mean to give me incorrect information ,and plus she feels it is totally her fault that I could potentially lose so much money. If anyone is interested in this cruise -please contact me on sonja_uk115@yahoo.co.uk as soon as possible (by 20th January). I will try to negotitate a good deal.

Cruise Positives:
What on offer - 3 people sharing a inside cabin - 400.00 per person cruise only include full board, food, entertainment, drinks(alcohol, beverages etc) All you have to do is arrange your flight, and exclusions (if desired).

Cruise Negatives:
I only have until 20th January 2009, and I am going to lose money on my flight from manchester - no matter what. Let me know, if you are interested.
