The dining experience on the Thomson Spirit is second to none. If you don't want to dress for dinner every night then you can choose the Lido Resturaunt which is self service, offering a wide choice culunary delights. every other day they put a menu from different countries, including Britian, Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Asia and so on.

If you are celebrating a birthday, Honeymoon etc then I highly reccomend the Sirocco Resturaunt which has seating for 30 people, they have a service charge of 15 pounds per person which is great value for money.

Entertainment Absoultely Brilliant, you would be hard pushed to find a better show in London's west end or anywhere in the world. On this Cruise the Director was Mr Simon Howell, brilliant singer and all-round entertainer. The Thomson Spirit show team are all highly trained dancers and singers from Leeds..

The Cabins are of a very high standard which you can only get from booking a thomson holiday.
Light and airy with plenty of room.

At every Port of Call there was plenty to do, every trip was very well Organised, if you wanted to see the ports of call on your own then the Spirit had bus tickets which worked out a 3 euros return.

From my on point of view the best places to visit had to be St Petersburgh in Russia, you have 2 days to explore this wonderful city, NB if you want to explore Saint Petersburgh on your own then you will need to get a visa, otherwise take one off the trips that are widely available.

My brother and I opted to go and see the evening of song and dance, Volga folk singers explaining the lives they lived through a colourful array of music and dance.

Cruise Positives:
Everyone on the ship were very helpful a big thank you to the purser who was helpful to us on the last day, very friendly staff, nothing was any bother to them. The trips were great value for money.

Cruise Negatives:
The only Negative thing I can say about the Thomson Spirit was the vibrations which was due to a fault when the ship was built, they are trying to rectify this problem when she is in dry docks.
