Full Review:
Had an excellent holiday made all the better by the staff on board.
The Compass restaurant provided great food and our waiters, Niinja and Elro were informative, attentive and great fun.
The entertainment was great, especially the UK comedian Lloyd Hollett. Also enjoyed the on deck entertainment of making cocktails and ice carving.
Cabin service was excellent. We felt very pampered, full marks to Violeta and her colleague. Enjoyed the fun casino, £3 for 20 chips, which enabled you to learn how to play. Ended up with 93 chips but couldn't cash them is as it's just a bit of fun.
Ports of call were great and the scenery was stunning. Woke up at 4.30am one morning, helped my self to tea in the Lido restaurant and stood up on the deck admiring the sunrise over the mountains as we sailed towards Alesund. The tours may seem costly but Norway is a very expensive place. If we had tried to do the exact thing ourselves it would probably have cost just as much and we wouldn't have had the benefit of the very knowledgable guides.
I'm already looking at cruising on the Spirit next year
Cruise Positives:
Great atmosphere, beautifully kept ship, fantastic staff
Cruise Negatives:
Absolutely none. Had heard about the vibration problem on the ship but wasn't affected in our cabin (Deck 1, outside cabin) Felt it occasionally whilst in the Braoadway lounge in the evening, but it really didn't bother me.
